JBS is established and headquartered in Rock Island, IL, and is owned and operated by the Johannes Family. The founder, Harry "Red" Johannes started with one school bus and a verbal agreement with a local Catholic school. From there, buses were added and relationships forged. Today JBS contracts with three area school districts and employs over 125 people. The fleet of vehicles include small to full size school buses, special needs buses and charter buses.
Located in the Illinois Quad-Cities, JBS is a family owned and operated business who have bussed thousands of Quad-Citians for over 40 years. Johannes offers school bus service, contracted routes for public, private, or government organizations, chartered bus service for groups with school buses or coach buses, special needs transportations. Any size group welcome.
